I whisper in my head, I love to write on deep dark poems. I am a graduate. I live in Kaduna.

I believe in poetry, as much as believe in my thoughts and existence. My choice of words are simple and personal, with meanings that may differ from the obvious. However, I hope these words I am sharing makes you feel loved and maybe, understood.

The Sound of my tears

As of yesterday gloom

Hounds today's dream

Smells of footprints

Covered in the dust

Let me whisper to your ear

The sound of my tears

It was love in pain

Tears in the ocean

Phantasy in reality

It was snow in summer

Let me whisper to your ear

The sound of my tears

I waddle to you

We hug like friends It was love

In the dark It was deceit

With a mask

How foolish was I?

But come close

My dear

Let me whisper to your ear

The sound of my tears

If my hands turn cold

And my soul

Goes home

Will you grace me

With a kiss

Upon my cheeks

If the valley turns cold

And grass dries out

Will your lips

Remember

My name

Will your heart

Embrace the sweet

Memories of our love

If my hands turn cold

And my soul

Goes home

Will your tongue avow

The goodness,

Nurtured In my soul

Or shall it deem,

The darkness,

It entails.

Before I go

I shall tell you

A tale untold

For a kingdom

Of lies,

Lay not

Far beyond

Before I go

Let me sing

The song of pain

How I forced

Myself to sleep

With a pill

And a drink

Yes before I go

Let me tell you

How the moon

Became my friend

How it

Shelter me with

Words

You never said

Yes,

Before I go

I shall

Tell you how the

Transformation began

From His little princess

To the monster under your bed

But Before I go I'll show

How i bleed In dark

While you were

Away with her

And Before I go

Let me show

You

How death feels

Even when you're alive.
